Mint tulip julep

This poor tulip was at the end of it's beauty cycle and in a fit of pique, whatever the hell that means, decided to upend itself and drown in one of my favorite tumblers. It looks appetizing enough but the smell is awful!!

Just got back from an extended visit in Wonderland. There isn't a lot to do and the pictures came out all fuzzy....the only memento I have is the waskely wabbit that led me down the big hole in the first place. Gorging himself with tea and cakes really slowed the little bugger down...I found him asleep...so I thought to myself...in a fake British accent... "hmmm...fkia old boy...... wouldn't that rabbit look rather swish down by the pond!...yes I replied...yes it would".

Just because!!

This was taken last year at Marsha's 55th birthday....I guess that means she is turning 56 this weekend! Party on!!!

The ice is off the lake....time to think about beer and lakeside fires!!
