well....this time it's for real....Spike is absolutely,utterly and completely drunk. It was music night last evening and good old Doctor VanderSluis left his rum and coke on the floor of the music room. Spike, being the good dog that he is, helped himself to a goodly amount before he was stopped. We figure that he only had about 1/4 to 1/2 an ounce of booze but it hit him like a brick. I took him to the vet just to make sure he was going to live. He's really hung over but he'll be fine.

I went to see my brother, Mark, play last night. He's doing a stint in a country act that features some of the best musicians in Canada. I loved the small town hair on the chic singer.

I'm reaching into my vast archive of photos for this one. Clearly, this shows a much younger Marsha and Rob on their wedding day some 26 years ago. The hottie in the middle is none other than Mr. Fkia. By the time this was taken we were all pretty high.

Spike came home from the hospital this morning and he has to wear this stupid collar for week. It's very funny and sad at the same time. His nibs is not happy.

believe it or not, kitchener has a blues district and this is a mural on the side of one of the funkier clubs in town.

my friends, mike and debbie little, have an extensive car collection, tucked away on lake muskoka, in a ridiculous series of storage facilities. on the left is debbie's 65 mustang fastback, center is mike's 52 mg-td, and the 64 corvette, i think, belongs to the dog.

spike and i were in north bay this past few days and we went for a walk on the city's beautiful boardwalk on lake nippissing.
