This was originaly built as a mail box but it was the wrong size, so, I turned it into a finch house, however, the finch did not like it very much, so, I let mice move in and now the neighborhood has gone to hell in a handbasket which is kind of convienient because I'm thinking of selling to the mob.....................................

This Brugmansia plant is dead. An exotic from somewhere equatorial, it can not take the cold. A killing frost indeed.

We had a killing frost in mudville last night and it's friggin cold out this morning so......I dug out this picture of Saint Marsha in her natural habitat. Warm your hands to the eerie glow of her inspired happiness.

As promised, the burning patio furniture. While we were otherwise involved, the wind, or was it Mr P, pushed this new resin chair into the fire. Hilarity ensued!!!

One of the major themes of Rob's birthday week was fire. On saturday night we took the new hobo-luxe burn barrel for a spin. Yeah baby!!!

Mr Greenfield's birthday week rose to a staggering crescendo of inspired craziness this past weekend. There are so many incriminating photos I don't know where to start so.......the opening salvo has to be pumpkin boy Walpole doing his best to look cute. I'll get to the burning patio furniture later in the week.

Off to London to attend my grandson's 3rd birthday. Mother and son enjoy a brief moment of togetherness before Lenox loses his mind over the presence of Spike. Not a dog lover....too bad!

This is a picture of a picture of Mr Fkia when he was just a wee shaver. Even at such a young age you could tell he was going to grow up to be an A-hole. In fact, it has been suggested that the young fkia was born with the A-hole gene.

This poor, bedraggled homeless woman wandered into my backyard on monday. Because of the knife I had the cops take her away.....turns out she had escaped from the Belleview hospital just hours earlier.

This is my brother Mark and it was his birthday yesterday. He's seen here displaying his concern about getting older.....and ladies.....big surprise.....he's single.

When I was in Sydney, Australia a few years ago I visited the royal gardens where I came upon this unusual flora. Nobody seems to know what this is....any ideas?

We were all on board the S.S. fortuitous when Rob, whose camera was not working at the time, asked me to take this image of Trout lake. In a large format, this is a striking picture. Cheers Rob!!!!

Sunset in the Muskoka woods. I have the flue again and I can't think of anything to say other than....... aaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhh!!!

Spike ate some unspecified fauna yesterday, developed a bad case of doggie farts and was subsequently banished to the back yard. He is seen here, staring through the screen door, pleading his case to be let back in the house. Phew......bad dog.

Windemere house is a famous sight on lake Rosseau and this is the view from the front steps. The place was burned to the ground by a film crew a few years back and had to be reconstructed from memory. They did an amazing job.

The look on this bear's face kinda reminds me of Walpole when he's trying to explain why he can't have another beer and must go home. A kind of blank obedience.
