I went to rib-fest in Kitchener yesterday and while walking through Victoria park I spotted this tiny little sandal sitting on a park bench. Some poor tot was walking with only one shoe on. What kind of parents does this child have?

You can tell when I'm being lazy when I post yet another picture of my buddy Spike. Sometime this week I'm going to do an essay on the wacky trees in my neighborhood.

Another future show car...64 Vette.
A 1938 Chevy coupe and future show car awaits finishing.
This past weekend Spike and I went to visit a friend in Coldwater. George is one of the best car restorers in the country and very expensive. The white Mustang belongs to my old friend Debbie Little. This car is friggin perfect!!

I love this time of year...the lush colors, the smells, even some of the weeds look good!!

Five years after planting them, my Engelman ivy vines are truly magnificent. This wall of green is 12 feet by 24 feet long and it obscures my neighbor's ill considered house. This is a seating area for young lovers and geriatric gardeners.
Here's a jim dandy fire shot from a few weeks ago. Stay up late, get loaded, burn something. Always a winning formula!!

Meet Jeremy....one of those people who do everything well. He taught me how to catch minnows. In the background you can see the SS Fortuitous being towed because it broke down...again. I'm shopping for a boat.
