not a lot of pressure cracks when there's not a lot of ice. the cracks on our lake are amazing and sometimes sound like humpback whales.
I thought Bass lake made a good sound but Trout lake takes the prize for it's acoustics!

The shoreline on lake Huron just north of Bayfield. If you listen real hard you can hear the sound of pressure cracks and polar bear farts!!
