Boy howdy...was it cold this morning!!

We just had a short but lovely warm spell here in Muddville. This time of year always has me jonesing for a garden fix....I need to get mud on my hands....to smell the good earth....to take another thousand pictures of my flowers!!

Another in my series on inappropriately placed cigarette butts. This gem was captured at Gumby's 50th birthday party!! Went to the doctors yesterday....turns out I have irresponsible bowel syndrome....who knew!!

You can't see it in the picture but Gumby and the Ice Marshal are tethered to an inflatable dolphin, swimming their butts off, to give Rob's boat a tow to the repair shop....again!!

Kathy and I cooked up a sumptuous feast for our St Valentines day celebration. The sauteed baby Brussell sprouts were a highlight!!

I started a new hobby this winter.....feeding things into the snow blower. This still life beauty is actually spaghetti squash and it is all over the ivy wall...what a mess!!

The tin man is starting to show his age. After years of living indoors he decided to spend the winter guarding the BBQ from vicious gangs of marauding squirrels. So far so good!!

It's alive!!! The battery for my remote surfaced this morning and I stuck it in its somewhat battered holding ring.....wait for it.....and the damn thing works....unbelievable!!!

Urban art installation.....I'd like to find the bonehead who so nonchalantly dropped this refuse on the ground and dump 50 pounds of regurgitated Cheetos on his or her head!!

Quick up-date....I went sifting in the suspected snow bank with a rake and found most of the parts I was looking for!!

About a month ago I lost my keys while blowing snow in the back yard. I sort of remember the racket as they were ejected from the machine. This morning, thanks to the recent melt off, I found the first of what will surely be many pieces of the lost key ring. This is the circuit board for the remote button that came with my truck.....200 bucks worth....I'm assuming that it will never work again!!

Spike can stand on his hind legs for ages....actually... all Schnauzers can. He's waiting for my sister to open the door so he can roar in and have a wild tumble with her dog Max. Fun times!!
Just to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that I have no life, here are a couple of shots of my precious dog Spike. Clearly Spike has no use for the green movement and leaves a little op-ed memento for the other dogs to disseminate.

This is a picture of Spike dragging his cat Sherman by the nape of the neck. These guys play so rough that I can't believe it's fun for both of them.
