Okay...this one is for the mad scientist Dave Greenfield. He was the only one to correctly identify the beautiful little Lotus Elite so......what is it Dave???

A Nash Metropolitan convertible, a Mini Minor panel van...very rare... and a Rolls Royce. Just a few of the many great cars that showed up at the annual Ancaster British car show and swap meet. This show has, over the years, become a huge hit with middle aged farts like myself. Attendance runs into the thousands!

I love this time of year...beautiful!!

Okay...I'm standing in line to get into this car show and this car drives by...I'm with ten car guys and nobody knows what the hell kind of Lotus this. Turns out to be very rare and expensive. Anybody know what it is???

Spike and company tearing around the yard and making me laugh. The frisbie is kind of big for him but it does not slow him down a whit!

It was the summer of 92. Marsha and I in the front of my leaky old Peterborough....with plenty of evidence of that which is likely to kill us both....having a grand old time in the south shore region of lake Nippissing. Rob is in the back, camera in one hand, fishing rod in the other, also having the time of his life. As I recall, we all caught something, but Rob snagged one of the nicest bass of his " career ". The boat leaked so bad, we had to bail it every 30 minutes, and we lost a propeller, and my herb got wet, and it took 2-3 hours to get back to shore but....we still had a great time!! I could go on and on... and I might... but I digress. This is a picture of my happy place.

The garden is coming along nicely. I wish Northern Dreamer would post some pics from Ottawa. I beg and I plead but......nothing.

This is a picture of a mutant pike that was caught in North Bay somewhere. I have to assume that it was in Nippissing. It would have been really interesting to see this creature swim!

I spilled a scotch on my camera last night and I think it got drunk....cuz look at this shot. There is no other explanation!! Actually, I like this pic anyway.

The river turds are back....it must be spring!

One of Spike's buddies dropped by yesterday and while they were playing I finally caught him on camera, fully airborne, doing a drive by biting. He does this to me all the time....the little bugger!

This oil painting was done by a former student of Tom Thompson and I love it!!

Lest any of you forget how handsome Spike is....a reminder!

Torso art is the very best art that I know. Hand made by a close family member, a number of people have said they are coming to my estate sale just to buy this. Kinda dark...don't you think.

Over the next few days I will be featuring art that is scattered all around Casa Del Fatboy. The Languid Minstrel is one of my favorite pieces.

I'm posting this in the hope it will shame my brother into cleaning up his back yard. To be fair there are some renovations going on but this is just unbridled sloth.

There are signs of life in my garden....finally....thank God!!

Inspired as I was by Costa Rican art work, I though I would share this picture of a huge painting that was in my garage when I bought the house. It measures 4 by 20 feet and it's a pretty good piece so rather than take it down, and do whatever with it, I decided to just treat it as a wall and attach all the electrical stuff as required.
